Plain Talk Therapy -
a source for mental health support.
Our approach
We are devoted to providing quality care for adolescents, adults, and couples. Every person brings their own story to the table, and we work together to navigate the sticking points by providing therapy, compassion, and genuine acceptance of you and where you are in your thinking/doing. The therapeutic approach is person-centered, catered to you and what you need help to wrestle.
How Plain Talk Therapy works:
-
Step One: We meet for a FREE introductory Q&A session. This offers us a chance to talk about your expectations, the nuts and bolts of how therapy is managed at Plain Talk Therapy, and get your questions answered. It is important that you feel confident and comfortable with your choice of a therapist. This is the time to figure out if Plain Talk works for you.
Step Two: Complete intake paperwork and begin tackling the challenges that brought you to therapy. Sessions are 90 minutes long to insure we can cover our conversation without feeling pressure or feeling rushed. Bring your coffee, bring your willingness to look inside the issues, and know that you are safe and welcome to just be your imperfect Self.
